Ill be the first to admit that memphis pretty much sucks, but who will second that we are dying for a show??? Ed mentioned when he was here in june that he and the band havent played here in forever so it does have my hopes up for atleast alittle something in the future.Iv never had the privalige of seeing the whole band and I as many others would be very greatful. id definantly love to get out of here and see them in philly or out west but thats a little hard on the man purse. So please please please even if you only play one song, just make a stop by the ole forum.. Whos with me??. Much luck to all who get the show in the next few months, i look forward to the reviews

I honestly don't believe they will ever come south again. I would guess 2003 was it. Ed also mentioned in Atlanta that he'd give the band a "good report" as if they planned to be booed in the south or something. I've never been to a Pearl Jam show in Atlanta, Nashville, Florida, etc that wasn't sold out and just completely awesome. I don't know why their perception has changed.

How is ANYTHING, that the band does, hard on your man purse?
  • Its not the bands doing, but i dont have enough money to travel and get a room plus tickets and everything in between. at eddies solo show here i easily spent over $200 it was worth every bit but making a show out of state would definantly make a dent. I hate that the band has come across bad times here in the south but they are more than welcome back anytime
