Hey Peeps,

I think PJ is the only band I've ever seen do this but the same price for every seat? Can you agree that all seat are NOT created equal? Why do they do this?

**PLEASE NOTE** I buy 10c tix like the rest of you and I would spend way more than 65 to see pj. This thread is an observation not a complaint.

I'm paying $65 for good seats (thanks to 10C).
I could care less if someone's "overpaying" for nosebleeds.

Maybe it's easier to handle all of the fan club seating. Maybe they can sell nosebleeds for $65 without a problem. Doesn't matter, that's still a decent price for a PJ show no matter where you sit.

Phish does this the same way... lawns are worth the same as the best seats in the house.

Yeah, come to think of it, it's different at a Phish show... it's worth being at a Phish show just for the light show they put on. Out of this world.

It was $77 all around for MSG last year.

I don't complain about ticket prices when the concert itself is priceless. It's an experience one, I won't forget. In the long run the price doesn't matter.

    Just my opinion.

I think the alternative woudln't be cheaper nosebleeds, but an increase in 10c tickets, so you really shouldn't complain about that.

I have never heard anyone bring this up but I have always thought that their ticket pricing benefits the Ten Club members. The seats that we get could be priced twice as much or more. Then reducing
the price of the upper bowl tickets and tickets behind the stage would probably speed up the sellouts significantly. Also looking at the big picture PJ having a large fan base and non Ten Club members save all of us money.
  • i've seen a few bands that price tickets at the some point for every seat in the house.

Wow, there always seems something to whine about...

The only thing i can think for this is is that people who don't have as much money and are the biggest fans can still get an opportunity to get good seats. But the point of the 10c is so that members can get good tickets, better than the public, so it doesn't even matter anyway if they charge a flat out rate for seating.

I'm happy if i get in any building Pearl Jam is playing at tbh.
