Cancerversary

A year ago today I was diagnosed with bone cancer.
I underwent chemo for four months, and declared in remission in Dec. of '08.
I'm still healthy and there are currently no signs of it coming back.
I'm lucky and thankful and grateful for all that I have- but today is still a very weird day.

This Friday will mark 5 months since my bilateral mx and the Friday after that should be my last trip to the O.R. on what they call the 'journey'... a roller coaster indeed!
Stay well... appreciate every second

*cheers* the future!!
Yesterday was very weird, because I remember all the fear and apprehension that came along with the diagnosis, so it's great that that's gone, but still feels strange to celebrate.
But once it's time for the remission anniversary, I'm going to be a party animal!
Congrats...here's to many more cancer-free cancerversaries!
Tickets for Toronto already. Can't effing wait!
