How do we get the jump on tickets?

So, what's the best way to know when the tickets go on sale? Should I keep refreshing "The Porch" and wait for a new sticky? Should I be refreshing the "Tweet" thread instead and be sure to read all new messages on that thread? Should I just watch my inbox feverishly? Should I refresh the www.pearljam.com page instead? or perhaps I should be clicking on "tickets" in the "Goods" section of pearljam.com until something appears. What's the best way to know as soon as possible and to be ready to purchase?

    ADHD much? :)
Wouldn't it be funny if the world ended in 2010, with lots of fire?

I usually just wait for a post in here, no one knows if tickets or anything else is going to happen today anyway.

You guys are going to be online all day? The announcement most likely won't come until 1pm Eastern Time...IF that.

This is one of the times that having a desk job with unrestricted internet is actually nice! :D

Yeah, saw that. Great info. Thanks for organizing it in one spot.

It has been amusing to be on the boards early and see when the mods woke up by watching the threads start to get locked and disappear. naughty monkeys. :D

    Another idea:

write a short script that sends a get request for https://secure.pearljam.com/store/produ ... tegoryId=3 every minute and rings bells and whistles when there's a difference between the latest response and the previous one. Then, go back to work...but then it might go on sale while I'm still writing the script....ack!

A more time-efficient idea, use Firefox and download this Add-on: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3362
