10c membership question

I first signed up for the 10c in 2003 and between then and now my membership lay expired for about 18 months. I would have then renewed around April 2006 and have renewed since. My question is do you lose your membership number or does it lay unactivated? I just wondered as I have been on the touringfans website and there seems to be a lot of people on there with similar numbers and they all got their inital membership around the same time as me. Does anyone know?

    Sorry, I meant I I was first a member in 2003, and got that number. It was only for 12-18 months where my membership expired so it's something like this:

    2003 current
    2004 current
    2005 No
    2006 current
    2007 current
    2008 current
    2009 current

    I assume that I would have been given a new # when i purchased a membership in 2005/2006 but I appear to have reactived my original number. Does that make sense?

    it doesnt make sence because you shouldnt have been allowed a gap year :lol:

    if they are basing you number on the 06 renewal i guess it'd be 390ish .... but if you do still have your original number - be happy, shooosh up, and buy a lottery tkt
