    Not really. I'm guessing the announcement will be Thursday. I didn't hear any radio tonight, but usually if there's a big concert announcement WMMR will promote it all night. And I doubt they make an announcement on a Friday when no one is around to listen because most of Philly takes 3 day weekends in the summer. So I'm guessing it will be on Thursday. Usaully 10 club let's local radio stations, especially stations like WMMr that have been good to PJ over the years break the news.

    Hopefully I'm wrong and the announcement comes tomorrow though. ;)
    I hope it's tomorrow too.. I have off then but I work Thursday and no internet access.

    There's bars in the city you can take a cab from, or you can go to the bar that's in the ball park. But the best choice is the epic tailgate.

    Mcfaddens is directly in front of citizens bank park......right there....but beware , it will be packed ...about 40 deep at the bar and prolly a cover... :D

    That's where everyone went after Wachovia in 05 but would not be a possibility if the World Series is going on.

    Other than that the closest bar is Chickie and Pete's and that is a massive sports bar and would also be out if the World Series is taking place. Hence the only thing left really is the parking lot.

    Here's the overhead satellite view. As you can see, the 4 sports venues, FDR park and parking lots. Not really any bars by there. But if there is no World Series, you could probably use McFadden's. They do charity events there all the time.
