Tickets: Credit vs Debit?

Does it matter which you use? I dont have a credit card, but i have a debit card.

Do you need a credit card? (Do i have to borrow my moms? lol (Im only 18))

Or does a debit card work?

    I used a debit card for EV tickets. If it is a lottery though, they hold the money for a few days, so just make sure that you keep enough funds available or when the transaction goes through and the money is not available, you will lose the tickets.

    just remember that debit is real money and credit is not.

    So if there's a website crash that results in being charged 3 times, that money is gone until the issue becomes resolved.

    Also, if your account info gets stolen online you're not protected under debit, but only liable for 50 bucks with credit.

    I use debit b/c I know the money is in there... I have had a few instances where on cc company didn't approve b/c I don't usually make online purchases or too many in a short period of time... I am afraid to chance it now...

    Like people above said, it's always a better choice to use Credit when buying online. If anything fucks up, it's not your money.

    Credit definitely if you can. As others have said it's safer if problems occur and you aren't out the money for the duration. If you have only debit then that's really ok. :)

    Credit card cus its basically like monopoly money, you just keep spending it and hope you get more later

    I use a credit card because I have had problems in the past with my bank's debit card even though it's a mastercard and even though the money was in the account. Maybe my bank is smaller and that's why but it almost cost me tickets.
