New Foo Fighters song: "Wheels"

It's pretty good, some guy made a comment below the video which says that it sounds like Tom Petty's "Learning to Fly," which I agree with. Due to the similar subject matter in the titles, maybe it's an homage.

It's called "Wheels"
I guess I can't change that now, eh? Oh well.
Edit: Oh, okay! I can change it!
It does sound like something familiar, not sure what it is yet.

That groove during the verse does remind me of "Learning to Fly"
Like most things that the Foos put out, not bad... not great, but decent enough to listen to.

What the hell are you talking about? Have you ever listened to There Is Nothing Left to Lose (great album right up there with TCATS) or what about Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace which has some of their best work since TCATS and TINLTL? Stacked Actors, Gimme Stitches, Next Year, Headwires, Generator, Have It All, Tired of You, Razor, Come Alive, Stranger Things Have Happened, Let It DIe and many others are from mediocre.
Sha la la la i'm in love with a jersey girl

woah...it's like you're reading straight from my Mediocre Delights playlist.
Yes.
LIKE PLAYING THE GODDAMN DRUMS!!!
He needs to quit floundering around with The Foo Fighters and do something worthwhile.
Thank Baby Jebus he's got this Josh Homme and John Paul Jones project to get him back on track.
I agree about There is Nothing Left To Lose, this one still sounds relevent, even moreso than Colour. Nothing mediocre about that album.
However, after that album, it got real boring. One by One I rank up there with some of the colossal failures of alt rock. Secret Samadhi bad. It's a shame because the album has two really good tracks (All My Life and Times Like These) that are just buried amongst a bunch of throwaways. Maybe "Low" you can add to the good pile. But Halo,Lonely as You, Overdrive and everything else are utterly boring mid-tempo songs with no noteworthy melody in the bunch. And for some reason that is what Dave decided to attach himself to going forward. Road to Ruin sounded Nickelback-ish
this.
i heard about that! that supergroup sounds like a dream come true!
