Hey Jeannette: You still going to write the dean a letter for me about that "field research" we're doing? ;)

Please excuse Angie from any classes she may miss in late October. She will be assisting me in collecting data related to an experiment involving the effects of live music, white pants and alcohol on cardiovascular and respiratory physiology. We expect to publish our findings in DEEP vol1 issue 5.

Don't wish the Village people on us again LOL!!! Were you at the Boston shows in 03?

no, no village people ... but, I'd be willing to bet Philly gets some rare tunes / new covers / surprise guest appearances ... and maybe some assless chaps for arcticangel ... :D

oh, and yes, I was at the 3 Mansfield shows in 2003.

Not to be picky, but they didn't play Red Mosquito which is one of my alltime favs, but I did get to hear it at MSG 2 a few days earlier so it's all good. ;)

They also failed to play Sonic Reducer which had been played during the tour. (Not being picky either, but one of my faves).
Yellow Ledbetter ended up as the only repeat. And "One Note" made its world premier. ;)

So I was thinking how great would it be if they did the Philly shows like the Boston Experiment in 2003! Not repeating a song and playing the entire catalog!!! What do you think the chances are of this? Would that be something you would want to hear or see or both? Just a Idea I figured I would throw out there. I listen to those Boston shows all the time. How lucky those people were to see those amazing shows.

I was thinking the same thing.

Just hope I'm able to get tickets. :?

Yellow Ledbetter is my least favorite song. Because as soon as you hear the first note you know it is time to say goodbye.

i hope they play for 13 hours straight.

Only way to do that is to tie them up on stage with an electric fence all around them, doomed to play for that amount!

But they never come to Philly. ;)

Only two shows in Philly proper since 1992.

Well, I now live in SF ... so, I already have my tix for Outside Lands ... aside from that, not sure, depends on what's going on for west coast shows.

I went back to the east coast for 4 shows last year (2 - MSG, 2 Mansfield) ... so, probably won't head east again.

If they are playing Hawaii in December, I think I'd go to that.

Yellow Ledbetter is my least favorite song. Because as soon as you hear the first note you know it is time to say goodbye.

Something special is gonna happen during one of those 4 nights, maybe a full album front-to-back, maybe a cover of an album (ala Phish) or similar to Boston '03...but its gonna be special and I'll be there all 4 nights...hell, maybe they'll play Binaural in its entirety

With normal set list times I think it's possible that they could theoretically play every song from all 9 albums over the course of 4 nights. Which would be awesome!!

FAR easier said than done. I'm sure some of those songs they haven't thought about for at least a decade, let alone reherse them.
