PJ mentioned on WMMR in Philly!!!

Pretty sure the tweet took care of all our suspicions, but Matt Cord on WMMR in Philly just said this week we will have an official announcement...Pearl Jam....Philly.....Spectrum!!!!!

    hey, where are people planning on staying for the shows? i see there's a holiday inn right near the sports complex down there.. is that worth checking out, or would it be better to stay in the city somewhere?
    i'm more a fan of popular bands.. like the bee-gees, pearl jam

    the sports complex is kind of off on its own, but right on a subway line.

    If you plan on just doing the shows, then that's not a bad option.

    How nasty would it be if PJ played the ENTIRE sports complex? First at the Linc, then The Bank, then the Wach, and then ending at the Spectrum. Now THAT would be ridiculous.

    It's the Broad Street Line, which runs north and south of the city. Broad Street - as it's name infers - is like Main Street in Philly. All the numbered streets run north and south as well so you would need to go west to right before 15th Street and you can pick up the Broad Street Line.

    Depends on weekends and weekdays. Go to http://www.septa.org and that should be able to tell you everything, and be able to plan your trip.
