Eddie and the band always talk about the "energy" at the shows in Philly/Camden. I could feel it last June, we will feel it again in October!!!!!!!

Not sure I'd go that far, but we're certainly on the short list...

    c'mon

its no secret that the philly show(s) are a neutral site for all North Easterners.

I'd say half ( or possibly more ) of those attending are from outside of Philly
( ie : NJ, NY, MD, other PA areas )

only a 2 hour drive for me so philly is almost like my backyard.

Oh, wait. I forgot the Mets are the 2008 World Champs.

God, what a nightmare that would have been.

Philly is the armpit of America and therefore they can hit the most fans. They can pull DC/Baltimore/NYC/Pittsburgh with a Philly show, and those are the only cities within a few hours.
    Pittsburgh 6/23/06
    Madison Square Garden 6/25/08

Does anyone have any suggestions of Hotels to stay at if they do play the Spectrum? Is the Spectrum in an area of town near the main attactions?

Stay anywhere in Center City and take the Broad Street Line to the venue. My suggestion is to check Hotels.com (not yet, though...too soon and the prices listed are too high) and use City Hall as the landmark to search near.

Thanks! Hopefully a great priceline deal for Philadelphia will come up like the one in Chicago

Just be careful with Priceline, because you may end up several blocks off of the Broad Street Line (or any line for that matter).

There's a Marriott along the Blue Line which takes you to the Broad Street line, probably a 10-15 minute ride depending on the schedules.

I like the hopeful love for your town.... I'm heading to outside lands for a PJ fix so I'm a little less biased, but I think it's about time PJ hit their true home, the nw. Play a few seattle shows, maybe some portland or even another bay area gig.

You folks on the east coast always get the bias.. give me some gdamn west coast bias!
