WBCN 104.1 Boston has PJ as #1 band in radio's history!

Was just out in the car and heard 3 PJ songs in a row on BCN, which is unheard of. Then the DJ cut in after the third song and said that Pearl Jam was voted the #1 band in the stations 41 year history. Pretty impressive cause if you look at the list, they beat out some really great bands. Way to go, PJ.

Edit: Technically, Pearl Jam made the list twice as Temple of the Dog is listed at #99.

    Maybe this love that Boston has for Pearl Jam will translate into some area shows as the band comes to the east coast for Philadelphia?

    No wonder I always wanted to visit Boston...hopefully i will be up there very soon to see a concert or two.

    That's where I first discovered PJ. I was in college in Boston and it was 1991....Saw my first PJ show up there too, Lallapalooza 92! Chilly Peppers, PJ , Sound Garden....pretty good times. :D I've always liked BCN.

    which day? They played 2 days in Mansfield ... I was at day 2 (Aug 8) ... what a crazy scene THAT was!!!!
