My guess is Tuesday night with Wednesday on-sale. I don't know why they don't just say "July 7th at 11:59PM", that's how most other websites with midnight-related deadlines word it.

I think they mean have your memberships up to date by this time. I doubt the on sale or tour info will be released at midnight.
  • you think they will have the tickets on sale immediately like they did for chicago. and does anyone remember for those if the announcement came at 12est or 3est?

I'm guessing they will. The truth is, I think it's better this way (for us board-posters/checkers anyways), as we don't have to scramble for getting tickets, since the Pit has such a small percentage of all 10C members.

  • I sent the 10c an email recently asking if they could share the total number of active 10c memberships. The response:

"Sorry this information is not available"

If I recall correctly, when they moved over to the Pit, there was a "Paid members" list which you could access, and I checked it out - I can't remember too well any more, but I seem to recall it being about 25,000 members.

the announcement will almost definitely come sometime during business hours (PST time) on July 8th. the tickets may or may not be immediately available for purchase... but depending on where you live, you might not be eligible to buy right away... (if you're in Canada you're probably fine).

    oh, and WELCOME!!

ok so some of the EV shows where they were announced on the spot...and for sale right then.... but you were only allowed one show per membership..... let's hope it's nothing like this if there's multiple shows.

As for Chicago, they were sold immediately also, but on different dates.... so the above doesn't apply.

all this stress is NOT good for my aging heart!!

  • I actually like the "single" show concept. It allows people to get to go to the show vs. always losing because thousands of people take 6 shows each.. seems more fair to me to allow all members equal access.

My guess is that we'll see 10+ shows announced, maybe as many as 20. Any more than 5 shows and they will HAVE TO stagger the on-sale times.

Someone willing to send me a txt with whether I need to run away from the beach and find someone willing to share the internet with me if it's an immediate sale event? oh.. wait.. i wasn't planning on taking my cell into the sand with me. dang... any ideas?

Color me red ( feel so foolish, I know to look for tweets, but just blew past this one). Occupational hazard of starting the holiday celebrating a little early.
Thanks for the kind reply, I really appreciate it.

Funny. I hope you are enjoying yourself. Drink one for me (if that's what you meant by celebrating). I gave up drinking about 3 years ago.. turned out that I was missing all kinds of things going on around me.

And probably people around were missing out on the best of you. Congrats on the 3 yrs. Keep it up, you're worth it. If the planets do align & I have a drink this holiday, I'll think of you. But, I had just fired up a little sparkler over here, hopped on the board to see what's up. Forum hopping, lurkin about reading this and that. Missed Sea's post totally, but I guess this title caught my eye. Go figure.

I think the tweet means that tickets will be on sale on Wednesday 1 p.m. eastern time, 10 a.m. pacific time. That is how it has been done recently.
