New Album Release Date

So according to pitchfork Backspacer is supposed to come out on Sept 22, can anyone confirm this?

    General consensus on several other threads has 9/22/09 as the unofficial official release date.

    What about release dates for singles from the new album?
    Toronto - 2009
    Hartford - 2010
    Ed Solo - Hartford - 2011
    Toronto X 2, Ottawa & Hamilton - 2011
    Ed Solo - Jacksonville - 2012
    London, Pittsburgh & Buffalo - 2013
    No shows in 2014 :-(

    Per Kelly Curtis in an interview, the tentative release date is for 9-22-2009. Pretty official announcement but tentative means nothing is concluded or agreed upon which means the date could change. I hope so though because it's my birthday. I always wanted a PJ album released on my birthday so I could get it as a gift. :D

    I would have thought that was possible a month or two back, but we haven't even heard the single yet. September is sounding more realistic now. I could see it being bumped up a few weeks to maybe September 6th, but no more.
