I'd love for it to be The Strokes, who are finishing their fourth album and could use a little pub.

A newish band or a local band would be cool too.

I'd love to see a Canadian band. Broken Social Scene, Metric, etc.. would all be sick!
Believe me, when I was growin up, I thought the worst thing you could turn out to be was normal, So I say freaks in the most complementary way. Here's a song by a fellow freak - E.V

I have the same feeling about a canadian band for the show. Not a fan of metric, BSS would be alright. I think Sloan, The Weakerthans or Tokyo Police Club would be good.

I don't mind any of those mentioned bands! Least it's not Nickelback or Theory Of The Deadman! gagme.gif

here's how I see this playing out.....

PJ meets Metric in Calgary for Virgin Fest. They all naturally fall in love with Emily Haines because seriously.. who wouldn't. And subsequently offer the band a chance to open for them in their hometown of Toronto.

    :)

    One can hope.

  • I think that The Trews would be a great opener for Pearl Jam in Canada. They're awesome live, and their music would really suit a Pearl Jam crowd.
