So during the presidential campaign. Mr. Obama aid that he will not raise taxes on people making less then 250k a year. Well now he is considering taxing health care benefits to those same people. I remember during the debates he criticized Sen. McCain for even considering this. What other promises has he reneged on?

Obama is nothing more than the same.

Real 'change' would have been Ron Paul. It is too bad the sheeple bought into the Obama hype.

ron paul never had a chance and you know it. he will never have a chance. he will have the same chance that kucinich will have. it is a shame that people like them get marginalized by the more moderate ends of each party and the media.

if obama keeps doing what he is doing i think his base will abandon him in 2012. a lot of people believe in him and if he screws them over they will not vote for him again. i know that i am not guaranteed to vote for him again. but then again with the gop in the state it is in, who do they have that could even make it a contest in 2012?

    by considering, one is reneging?
i understand your point, but seriously...if it ends up NOT being put into practice, how would he have reneged on a romise? i await him actually pushing for it, putting it into action, until i consider a promise broken. and that holds true for anyone, not just obama.

also, i may be mistaken, but i thought it was only the health care savings accounts that was under consideration....? of course, the ideas being bandied about may well have expanded, i certainly am not suggesting i am 100% up on all that has occurred.

Thanks for pointing that out. Too many people are totally unaware of their biases, and how they read what they WANT to read into news and other public information sources.

Just today I saw a bumper sticker on a car that read "Only ..... more days until January 20th, 2013. Are we there yet?" The Presdient has been in office for 5 1/2 months and they've already got the bumper stickers for the next election printed up. ridiculous. You may not agree with his actions and policies, but let's see what the actual results are before we start passing judgements.

I agree. Hell, two weeks ago I saw my first "Impeach Obama" bumper sticker. Granted, I've been a big Obama supporter for about six years now, but I couldn't help but think "what for?".

I'm willing to bet that the folks who printed those up, and the person who had it on his car, have no idea what impeachment means - other than it removes someone from an elected office. This is one of those instances where a little bit of knowledge can be dangerous.....
