Since the show isn't listed on the Pearl Jam website, I figured I'd start a thread to mark the anniversary of the show that wasn't. ;)

It's also a good reminder of all the good that the band does after all the Ed bashing for the Oracle Show he did in Hawaii last week.

Here's the set:

Was up there too. Great show, but probably the worst crowd I've ever seen a PJ show with.

But they picked it up in time for the end for Baba:

btw - was it not uber geeky-cool to be able to take a tax deduction for attending a pearl jam show? :geek: 8-)

Sadly, it was not my only PJ related tax deduction last year. I also deducted the money I spent on the setlist that Stone auctioned for charity for the show I won front row with the ten club lottery, the donation I made to to CCFA to sponsor's Mike's team for an autographed bootleg, and the donations I make to various board members who do charity events on my tax return last year as well.

    how is that sad?
    it's awesome!
however, the beacon still stands as my only deduction for attending a live pj show. donations to pj-fan sponsored charitygigs - they'd happen either way. i've never bid on any auctions tho. i *heart* tax deductions, always good.....adding in an amazing live pj show just makes it that much sweeter.

and yes....now you love the lottery.......;) hehee.

The Beacon was toooo much fun. Open bar was totally unnecessary.
Harvest Moon was a treat and Masters of War was great as always. And Undone is one of my favorites. :)
Yeah, the show was no Vic, but the setlist was tight and it was so fun to see PJ in such an intimate setting.

how did you manage to do that and see the show at all?. think I only got 2 drinks all evening because there was such a queue that it's all we got time to get between the pre-show and the interval! ( I don't leave my seat to get a drink during a regular show, sure as hell won't when I paid $350 for it! not missing a second baby!)

first time i got shitfaced at a pearl jam show. it was fun but its definitely not something i'd do again.

that's what an open bar will do, though
i have a paper here that entitles me to fast track status
