i got married yesterday..............

.........and had a ukulele player perform at the ceremony. he played soon forget (music only) through the whole ceremony, here comes the bride as she came out and somewhere over the rainbow (50 First Dates style) as we left.

Also during the cocktail hour he played Can't Keep and a bunch of other stuff (pink floyd, michael jackson, buffet, beach boys). It was bad ass!

That's all I got!

    I also got married ;) , but on the 13th of June.
    We started the ceremony with Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness, then I walked down the isle with Oceans and we finished the ceremony with Tonight, Tonight by Smashing Pumpkins. Now for the cocktail hour, we decided to bring back our roots, since we are both brazillian, we only played Bossa Nova Songs.
    It was really Nice!!!

    we are heading to Aruba for a week! i am pumped, it's gonna be awesome. when deciding on a place to go i thought of ed in the laird hamilton show that was on suncast or whatever. ed said that any place that the beach boys sang about should be honored or something so that was my only request was that it had to be in a bb song.

    :lol: Yeah, that is kind of the problem with social settings like that: you probably want to go like "yeah, Can't Keep!", but you have to shake hands and socialise... :roll: ;)

    I love the uk Can't Keep version. I don't play the uk, but that one sounds like it has a complicated structure; like music flows into itself.

    Have fun at Aruba. Enjoy the weather and nice beaches.
