Can somebody please explain the whole Ashton Kutcher thing to me. It was before my time here in The Pit and I want to know :cool:

    apparently a couple of years ago during an interview, ashton kutcher used some phrase that is common in the english language, but also slightly resembled a pearl jam lyric, and somebody posted it here as a "pj reference by ashton kutcher". hilarity and ridicule ensued...

    he was only told that he resembles ashton...he really does not know the story.

    danny, i think ashton made the remark on a late night show, i'm not sure.

    I realized that something was missing after I pasted it, sorry! Maybe it was explained in more detail on the board (the generation) before this one...

    Rough original translation...

    I was watching Letterman the other night and Ashton Kutchr was on. He said a rock was glorified version of a boulder or something like that. I heard Ashton is a huge pearl jam fan. It was cool.

    It was one of those complete silence/tumbleweed rolls by/crickets chirping in the background moments that went on and on. The thread got locked because someone called another board member a fag or some derogatory name. It was honestly up to like 400 replies.

    Wow, I didn't know it is still remembered :D

    It actually wasn't even that long ago. The thread title was something like "Ashton Kitcher 'almost' quotes Pearl Jam". It was just a completely ridiculous claim :p
