    Our TV announcers even talked about the guy getting married on the day of the Final. At least he'll maybe have a happy day.

    And they just showed some Greeks watching the game in Athens. At least they had a little reason to celebrate.


    They showed a big guy in a gray suit. As soon as they mentioned "favorite bars in Athens", I was looking for a Pearl Jam shirt...didn't see it

    The Greek Festival, not far from my house, maybe a 5 minute walk... they serve this... speaking of drinks:

    First weekend in September. Great times. Lots of dancing, some spanakopita, gyros, dolmades, chicken and rice, baklava, Loukoumades....

    Music and dancing, tours of the Greek Cathedral, Hellenic singers, cooking lessons.

    You make me hungry.

    Greeks have the best food.

    We have friends who are Greek (I mentioned earlier in thread). We took the ya-ya...who is now a PRO-YA, and her daughter there, who is now a ya-ya herself... We could not get the PRO-YA out of there... She was talking to the priest for a long, long time.

    "Absolutely. She's so wonderful!"
