Did MJ die of a drug overdose?

Just reading this on a couple of websites that say Michael Jackson possibly died of a Demerol overdose administered by the doctor in his home. I know that nothing has come out to confirm this, but it does seem weird that a 50 year old dies of a heart attack. Not saying it's not possible, just seems odd to me.
He who forgets will be destined to remember.

Not to knit pick, but he didn't die of a heart attack. He died of cardiac arrest. Heart attacks generally stem from circulation problems, usually because of blockages. Cardiac arrest happens when there is an electrical problem in the heart. That seems to only increase the possibility that he died by unnatural causes, whether it be of a demerol overdose, or a reported addiction to prescription drugs, as there are several drugs that can screw with the internal electrical system.

However, it could have just been a freak thing. But the fact that he was only 50 years old, and seemingly in pretty good health, it would really odd for his heart to just stop with no outside influences.

But no one will know until the autopsy report comes back.

I guess yes. But only time (and toxicology reports) will tell.

I didn't know the guy, so for me to say those things with any conviction is a stretch. I said he was "seemingly in good health" which basically means, from what I saw of him on TV, he didn't seem like the kind of guy whose heart would just give out. He wasn't overweight, he wasn't really that old and he didn't seem to exhibit any of the signs of somebody who would suffer from sudden cardiac arrest. That's what makes me think that drugs were somehow involved.

    But we shall see.

Well he was like 120 lbs. and I think he was 5' 10'' so thats really skinny.

I heard he died of cardiac arrest because he had just gotten an invitation to a birthday party for a set of triplets. He was so excited his heart blew up

Well...they either jumped the gun and got lucky on the "He's dead" news or they knew what they were reporting? :?

Hit the nail on the head there.
Either way... it was not "natural causes"

My guess is that it will come out as an overdose and the doctor is going to get in trouble.
