    RIP MJ
Thanks for inspiring members of Pearl Jam and providing an amazing body of work...
Jackson 5, Off The Wall, Thriller, We Are The World - all memories and part of my life's soundtrack...
Now, the freakish and deplorable behavior stuff - that's his cross to bear...thank god for Pearl Jam in 1991

Anyway - I was definetely saddened to hear the guy passed. I know Ed, Jeff and Mike had mentioned him as an influence for them - and was a big part of me growing up in a music lovin' family...

    Peace

I have to admit that I'm still shocked! Before I was a fan of Pearl Jam or any music genre, there was only Michael Jackson!!! Remember being 4 years old back in 84 and just listening to Thriller over and over again...!

That's sad news. I know that a lot of bands and I'm sure that Eddie too, will be saying how inspirational Michael Jackson was to them and everyone.

R.I.P. Michael, thanks for the music!

Ed's number one most inspirational album to this day is by the Jackson 5.. we may never have seen the likes of Pearl Jam without Michael Jackson.

The Jeff Golblum story is on Channel Nine news in Australia saying New Zealand Police have reported his death. Nine news is one of the more reputable sources in Aus.
