mark it down for when? are they actually playing bumbershoot, or are they playing the day before or after bumbershoot? are they playing the key arena or memorial stadium?

I have to wonder if ticket sales are slow, so people keep spreading this rumor to sell tix...I thought I read One Reel productions came out and said there was no PJ at Bumbershoot this year.... :x
Tickets would be a logistical nightmare...Key Arena does not allow B'shoot to hold shows inside anymore and wristbands are only distributed to 10,000 people for the mainstage headliners on the morning of the event
I will not lose my Faith, it's an Inside job today....

Pearl Jam, Bumbershoot, nudity and more on Candy Cast Episode 2
Last week Ear Candy made its maiden voyage into the world of podcasting with Candy Cast Episode 1. It was such a fun and positive experience that we decided to do it again and this time there's nudity.
That's right, in Candy Cast Episode 2 there is some nakedness going on. How exactly does nudity make its way into a podcast? Well, you'll just have to listen to find out. Also in Candy Cast Episode 2 Brent and I discuss the upcoming Noise for the Needy shows, the local badasses Brent Amaker and Matt Cameron and even get around to touching on some local hip hop. We also talk about Bumbershoot and debunk the rumor that Peal Jam will be headlining this year's festival (a rumor that was partly started by Ear Candy, sorry guys) http://blog.seattlepi.com/earcandy/archives/170582.asp
Apparently Matt came out and said no PJ at B'Shoot this year in the interview - which I cannot listen to right now, no speakers at work....

With a line-up as bad as it is this year I hope ticket sales are slow. In years past (but this year especially) they seemed to take on a majority of mainstream talent in order to drive ticket sales and higher ticket prices, rather than celebrating bands who hold onto at least a shred artistic integrity. Just seems like a slap in the face to something heralded as a music and arts festival.
Capital Hill Block Party completely outshines Bumbrshoot this year.

A while back Ear Candy tried to fuel the rumor that a small local band you may have heard of named Pearl Jam would be headlining this year's Bumbershoot festival.
Well, turns out I was wrong. Or at least maybe I was wrong.
You see, I did officially hear from the Bumbershoot camp and they did tell me that Pearl Jam is NOT headlining this year's festival.
Unless the person lied, I would think this would settle any future rumors...

I hope Pearl Jam doesn't play it...don't want to deal with Black Eyed Pea/ All American Reject/ Sheryl Crow fans
This year is currently Bumbershoots worst line up
