Cover Songs and Posting guidelines

Howzit all....
Just a quick heads up, I have been a member of the forums now for as long as I recall (probably 6 years or so so not as long as many!)
Used to post a few 'covers' I had written to PJ and AIC songs etc and in the old forums it was all acceptable.
However I noticed there are a few guidelines these days that I should adhere to, and having had picked up my guitar for the first time in years the other night (baby daughter meant no playing loud music!) I decided to record a couple of songs....usual stuff, some of my own and some covers just to get the mixes right.
Anyway I wrote an instrumental version of Alive (my vocals are rubbish) and wanted to get some thoughts on it. It was just a one night jam (whilst the baby was asleep) so its nothing special but its always nice to get good and, more importantly, constructive feedback so wanted to put it here....where it would be most appreciated.
Can I post cover songs and if so what section would be best?
Thanks in advance, and hope to see some of you in Manchester/London this August !!!
