Alive is tough to argue with. It's a solo for the ages. I dig NAIS, but I don't think Ledbetter is all that special.
I'm partial to the solo in Immortality... it's stunning and always makes for a jaw-dropping moment at shows!
Alive
Down
Even Flow
Of The Girl
Many...so many.
Yes that's the one I was going to say too. The version off Benaroya is particularly noteworthy.

studio - alive and evenflow wins hands down, perfectly structured, nice and bluesy but still hard rock. McCready truly at his best!

But I would say mikes best work is in reach down. It's "breath" taking.

I think Alive and Breath are really similar towards the ending solo.

The solo is "à la David Gilmour"!

Stone's solo's are underrated - Brain of J, Not For You, Save You.. just to mention a few.

Not exactly the most difficult solos to play...But they certainly have a buttload of soul.

How about the worst solo? My vote is for Wishlist. I 3y ear old can play that!
The beauty of Wishlist is in the simplicity.

Yeah, Eddie sure does love his eBow.
I loved watching that in SVT. It is a very simple solo, but it blends with the song oh so well.
Live: Yellow Ledbetter
he just gives it away...
