Let's get it going...

How can he possibly top last night?

Here are some of my predictions:
- some version of Betterman
- will play a new song (The End?)
- Michael Stipe will show up and they will play Longroad

We had TM tickets last night and we get our 10C tonight so we're pumped.

    :P We're driving to ATL from Asheville, NC this afternoon....and I can't waittttttt!!!!! :D

I'm sad to have missed last night but couldn't get off work or afford it so oh well :? I hate to have missed Picture in a Frame and Growin' Up. I would absolutely love it if you were right and Long Road w/Michael S. was done...that would make my night. But I'm sure we're going to have a blast regardless of setlist. It's my first time seeing EV solo or otherwise.

I could only get TM tickets but I think the seats will be pretty good...the 2nd row MEZZ right behind the first balcony.

Look forward to seeing some of you there!! ;)

Last night was my first EV show... had Mezz seats. Worth it. You will have fun. I once saw Stipe stop by for Coldplay... I'm sure he could do the same for EV. And I bet he's excited because he'll be heading to Hawaii soon.

So before the encore they put out an extra chair and microphone and I thought 'oh please oh please let it be Michael'...but unfortunately it was just Liam. That guy didn't impress me in the slightest...of all the opening acts I've seen, he was definitely one of the worst.

Other than that, the show ROCKED and I'll never forget it. :D

like with alot of new music you haven't heard before
maybe you need to hear them again - they really are awesome
it was our 4th time to see them
they are very talented and he has amazing energy and love for what he does
got to appreciate a one man band

:) Thanks, maybe so. Sometimes it can take awhile for someone to grow on you. I liked his guitar and drum playing I just wasn't used to that looping he does...and I didn't think his voice along with Eliza Jane belting it out was anything special to say the least, especially when they would sing the same line over and over and over again... But I will give him another try sometime. ;)

Liam Finn has such a great voice. I think that it gets drowned out by all the crazy stuff thats going on

Eliza Jane has a phenomenal voice. I loved when her and Eddie did a duet at the Atlanta 1 show.
