    Birthdays just aren't a big deal anymore. I wonder at what age that happens?

    Today is supposed to be ridiculously hot, so I guess I'll just laze around the deck most of the day.

    well happy birthday today then.

    And to answer your question, birthdays start becoming not a big deal after the age of 22.

    Everything up until 21 is some sort of milestone (up until US drinking age). 22 you still have some personal hype toward your birthday, but it disappoints.

    At this point, I just get thankful I made it another year.



    Not sure if its different for Canadians.

    huh?
    i am 40...and birthdays are still a 'big deal'...i love birthdays! :) way better than the alternative. ;) perhaps don't have as big a hoopla about em, but i still look forward to, and enjoy them immensely.
