Why don't you just win it yourself?

  • I used to own that shirt along with a lot of other cool metal shirts (Ozzy, Metallica, Maiden, Testament) that would probably be worth a lot of money now. Damn you Nirvana for making me like good music and throwing away all my shirts from my childhood.

good question......and in all honesty, i am going through a phase right now where i would like to get rid of some items to make room for others, instead of just buying everything.

    did that make sense?

ok....what i think i am trying to say is, i need to get rid of some items i have that are worth something, instead of just continually getting more items that are of value....maintaining a balance.

also now that i think about it.......i would enjoy wearing the shirt.

  • Could be that funds are tight. Can't spend $80 bucks on a t-shirt but could trade something he already has.

  • Here is the problem with this proposition--you want someone else to do all the work for you. Why don't you just buy the Maiden shirt and sell your vinyl on Ebay? Replace the money you spent on the shirt with the money you make on the record. Who knows, you might actually come out ahead in the deal. Just seems kind of lazy to me to not take control and do it yourself.

you are correct, about "take control and do it yourself"......i did not think about it as "wanting someone else to do all the work"...that was not the intention.
i thought by offering it here for "trade" it may go to someone here that genuinely would like to have it.....i was wrong, and since no one here has a vintage iron maiden shirt to trade.......screw it, i was wrong.
