Lukinfan - good luck in your wallet quest - not sure how many they will let you buy, but merch people in Baltimore said you couldn't buy more than 2 (I sort of got the feeling they were just making that up, but whatever). I must say, the wallet is pretty cool. I'm happy I got it. Also the sigg bottle is great. Great merch this time around!

I don't understand why Eddie is supporting, selling, and making money from a LEATHER wallet. Isn't he vegetarian and / or vegan?

Also, the guy selling them in Nasvhille at the Ryman had a PETA shirt on.

Doesn't make any sense to me. Unless they are fake leather.

But still.... they were advertised as Leather Wallets....

since when has ed NOT worn leather?
i've seen numerous pics of him wearing leather jackets, and he has always worn leather shoes.
numerous vegetarians do so for health reasons, not all for animal rights reasons. not to say that i know ed's rationale, not at all....just sayin'. i do believe most vegans do so for both reasons, and most definitely would not wear/use leather, but i've seen plenty of vegetarians wear/use leather.
    Stay with me...

This is totally nuckin futz! I bought my kid one at the Baltimore show just cause it was flat and had a place for his guitar picks. Never noticed anything special outside of it was a backspacer turtle pick. Will have to ask him if the pick's signed. Can't believe these are catching $140 since they cost $25 or was there a different wallet I didn't see?

I think someone posted here that he didn't start signing them until Memphis, but I could be wrong

Just checked with him and he said it has a plain EV initialed on the back. Guess he lucked out. :D Seems they were sold from the Albany show throughout the tour according to an article I pulled up when I googled to see if it was the same thing.

Ed's worn leather jackets, so I don't know if he's averse to it.

I'd rather he didn't offer leather products though... I'm a veg too.

The wallets are going for INSANE amounts on ebay now. It's because of the signed pick. Even though it's just two letters. :)
I am lucky I have a friend that was able to get me one and a water bottle a couple weeks ago...now I just have to see her to get them. My initials are also EV so I was really hoping to get these 2 things... it's like personalized items with a really cool logo to them!

Also, people, if you're considering buying one on ebay, just wait a while. Remember how the first tour's zippos were going for $120 and $140 when they first came out last year, and now you can't give them away! PJ fans tend to bid highest when something is first available. Look at the reaper shirts last year etc. Just chill for a little while, and you'll get yours. (especially if 10C sells them, though at this point I'm sure the question is will the pick be signed??!)
