What a class act those guys at pixar are, even the toughest of you should get a little teary eyed reading this.
{if (work != 0) {
work = work + 1;
sleep = sleep - work * 10;}
else if (work >= 0) {
reality.equals(false);
work = work +1;
}system("pause");
return 0;}

    With all the shit that goes on these days and all the negative things on the news, it's just so great to read something like this!!!!

    Thanks for the read!

    I read this earlier..

    Incredibly sad, yet perfect. Colby's death was inevitable but her goal was to stay alive to see the movie, she did and she was ready to pass on. GREAT job on Pixar's part.. really solid to get the worker out there.

    That was the most bittersweet thing I've read in a long time. It's good to see when a big company like that takes the time to do something so touching, to go out and make a dying girl happy.
    Thanks EPOTTSIII!

    And even better that Pixar is denying comment on the topic. Sometimes you just want to do the right/good thing without getting any praise for said action.

    I noticed that too. It's nice to see big corporations do things like this. Gives me hope for humanity.

    totally right, why cheapen the whole thing by saying "oh, we were proud to make a dying girl happy." Sometimes you just do the right the thing without having to be told it is the right thing to do or accepting any praise for it, it is even nicer when it is a big corporation.

    Such a sad yet great story... if that makes sense. Good for Pixar.

    “Do you think you can hang on?” Colby’s mother said.
    “I’m ready (to die), but I’m going to wait for the movie,” the girl replied.

    Way to go Pixar!!! It's nice to know that some companies out there still care about people.
