Pearl Jam Harmonica "tabs"?

Seeing Ed at the Tower has inspired me to attempt (again) to learn the harmonica. Does anyone know of any sites that transcribe the harmonica parts of PJ songs? Footsteps, driftin.., etc.... Also, what key of harmonica does Ed usually use? I have a standard C which seems to be pretty common. I get my PJ guitar tabs from given to wail, but don't see harmonica on there, unless i'm overlooking something.

I love playing "Smile" too. I use a 'G' harp for that one. I can also get some of the 'Hide Your Love Away' harmonica part with it too. But, to answer your question, no I've never seen any harmonica tabs. I didn't even know they existed until now. I just try to play it by ear. Good luck.

I have a harmonica. It was actually in the case of an old guitar I bought. I have no idea what key it is in. I have no idea how to play it. But, I'd sure like to learn.

  • I go to http://www.harptabs.com to learn songs. I didn't see Driftin on there, I saw Jeremy, Last Kiss, and Smile on there. I have been playing for awhile now, I have a G and C harp, and that has got me pretty far so far.
  • At the Vancouver Canada show in 2005, after playing "FOOTSTEPS" Eddie walked over to me and handed me his Harmonica.
It is a M Horner Marine Band in G.
I hope that this will help you :)

If Pearl Jam ever plays Wyoming, you're a shoe-in for front row.

It's sad that when I bought a new harmonica, that's what I bought just because I know it's what he plays. I'd rather have gotten a free one though!

The tambourine he gave me was broken!!!
