Chevrolet Cobalts

I'm looking at buying one of the 2006 Sedans and I was just wondering if anybody has driven one of these before. If so how do they handle, was it good on gas, and did you have any problems with it. Any advice about whether I should or shouldn't buy this car would be much appreciated.

i have driven them many times (as rental cars). i think they drive great. gas mileage was pretty good, and the controls are all where they should be (some cars have things in very inaccessible places). i usually request them when i rent. i especially like the 2 door model, but the 4 door is nice as well.

the best thing you can do is test drive it.

I own a 06 Cobalt. I love the car. Usually average 30 mpg. Very quiet and smooth ride. I love it:)

I get them quite a bit (rentals) when I'm traveling for work.

Gotta say, I'm not a huge fan. There is no question that it's a decent car, but if I have my choice I never pick the Colbalt.






That said, I rent cars on ave. about twice a week. I've driven pretty much everything...
The absolute WORST rental out there IMO is the Chevy HHR! What a POS that thing is! I usually rent with Avis, and if they give me one of those I march right back and and request/demand something else.
