I'm from Seattle but by chance my family is getting together out there and unluck would have it that everybody is going to the Mariners/Mets game that night of Jun 24. There will only be 4 of us but its already set and don't feel like I can really back out. But when else am I going to get to see them at MSG? I need a good excuse to ditch the family reunion and sneak to MSG...I need to borrow some creativity.

The best fuckin band in the world is playin a sold out gig in the best known concert hall in the world and you gotta be there.
Tell em to tevo the game and you'll catch it after the PJ show.
And promise Aunt Mildred you'll give her a foot massage, and eat her famous casserole, once your over your concert high the next day.

Good luck, & if that doesn't work offer to get the dogs and beer from the concession stand then fake a wiked stomach ache and say you'll be indisposed of in the men's room for Oh...about 4 hrs.

    400s no good IMHO
300s ok if you are not too far from the stage

Some of us Mets fans are congregating at the game on the 23rd. Could you suggest that night instead of the 24th?

Don't miss the MSG gig(s) if it's at all within your power.

All the way over from Seattle, in the same town as PJ and NOT GO?! How many days are you spending in the city? I'm sure that's not the only night. Pledge to be a slave to them for the entire rest of the trip if you must. Its only a few hours away from them. Or simply tell them how much this means to you and you know they'll understand. But don't miss it. Even in the last row of behind the stage.
