A pipe dream is a fantastic hope or plan that is generally regarded as being nearly impossible to achieve.

Extremely sick of the waiting. Sure they will come... but why fu*K with us so badly. Look around at any other band that plans on a "early fall" tour and you can see that they have the dates listed and the venues secured way back in APRIL or MAY, probably even earlier, which would have been really nice to save a little vacation time.
This saving the hype for after the festival announcements is pure bullshit. Announce the dates. I dont really think the 6 months of additional hype is helping anything exept the band is able to get a blurp in each issue of rolling stone concerning their latest endeavors.
And believe me, i want to go to a few of these shows, but I have a life, a wife, a son and a daughter that mean a hell of lot more to me than waiting like a nice boy in the back of the room. :?

Go out and enjoy your summer. Plan your family vacations and enjoy the time you spend with your children. If shows are announced later in the year.....great...if not....oh well....

Yea, I hear that I am waiting and really getting sick. Almost a year ago I got kidney stones and still attended the MSG shows. Now a year has passed and guess what I am getting? Yup Kidney stones. Pain in the back, blood in urine. The pain was so intense lastnight I nearly passed out. Hospital says its still in kidney and hasn't fallen yet......R u kidding me.

I think they are waiting until after Outside Lands and ACL single day tickets go on sale.

they probably realize and rightly so, that we would rather see a 10c show than a festival.

That seems to be a very reasonable assumption. Hope they sell out the Friday OLF tickets quickly.

Yeah.... would much prefer a non festival show for my Pearl Jam fix, but the festival scene introduces other bands you would otherwise not get a chance to check out.

As for the OLF.... I really hoping to go to this, simply cause I can't make it to any of the other shows as they are now scheduled.

    So better than nothing.

I already got the 2 Chicago shows, but I'm starting to get a little antsy here. But they'll be announced eventually....I'm guessin after the EV tour is over.
