This Sucks!

I planned on leaving Friday to go to the Bay Area for the Berekely and Santa Cruz shows, but the other day I was T-Boned while driving. My car is totalled and I'm a mess physically. I can't take an 8 hour drive now and I'm going to miss the shows. I was heartbroken when Ed cancelled out on Bridge School and now this! Okay- rant over- I just had to get that out- I was soooo looking forward to seeing Ed solo.

    Maybe you could get a ride from somebody who's going to those shows. It would be a shame to miss Ed.

    Thanks- I have to keep reminding myself of that instead of wallowing in misery about missing the shows and being in pain!

    sorry man try bumming a ride..p...seeing Ed will cheer your right up

    and I was disapointed that Ed canceled out on the Bridge too.....I flew into LA all the way from Albany and then drove up with a friend.....

    i'm not alwasy the sweetest person in the world,
    but a fellow fan comes on here and says they were plowed in to side on in an auto accident, is physicaly banged up, and missing a show,

    and 9 out of 10 responses are stupid jokes about steak?

    Pretty fucking lame, guys.

    Like one nice person said, good you're not wrapped in plaster, or in a box.

    Sucks you will miss the show.

    If you really wanted to go, i bet if you tried for it, you could find someone else on here willing to swing by and give you a lift?

    Get better. And see what you can do to make it work. Get some weed for your "medicinal needs" and get your ass to those shows.

    You reaaaally need to get there......if you can breath...go. And hey if your in a wheel chair....you may get a good spot. Convinced it will help the healing process as well.

    Haha. Thanks. Part of the problem is that I have a slipped disc in my lower back and I can't sit in the car for the 8+ hour drive. But I think I've found a way to catch at least one show- my sister said that if I can find tickets to the San Diego show that she will take me. The drive from Vegas is only about 4 hours so I think I can handle that with a couple of breaks in between. It sucks though that 4 perfectly good Fan Club tickets are going to waste. At least they weren't that expensive.

    They do have that invention that came out a few years ago called a plane...??

    Gee thanks, I never would have thought of that. The fact is that I HATE flying and on this short of notice the tickets are $300 a piece.

    i don't believe but sometimes i want to... sometimes dreams come true....
    It's sad... but think! U are not alone. I don't know when I will see PJ alive again
    BTW. I think it's first time when I am jealous of Americans -U can see PJ more often... and sometimes i wonder how this could be that's so amazing band is from USA (sorry, it's my prejudice, I guess... maybe)
