Obviously we're all familiar with his electrics, but he's been playing some acoustics I haven't seen him with before. Anyone know what he's playing?
And what's that he's playing Man of the Hour with? Some kind of lute or mondola or something? Or like a baritone uke?

I'm pretty sure that on man of the hour Eddie is playing this guitar in Nashville tuning.

nashville tining, that didn't even occur to me, thanks. sounded really cool that way, in contrast with his voice
  • And I suppose I'm the only one that's wondering about the Fender bass, that's back on the side of the stage, with the rest of the guitars (behind George Webb).

Ha! I started this same thread after the April Fools Tour! Here's what I found out back then:

And then he added the white Martin on this latest tour.
Martin 000-ECHF "Bellezza Bianca" (Eric Clapton, Hiroshi Fujiwara)

Told a funny story at Philly2 about running into Eric Clapton in the hotel, with said guitar in hand.
"Eric, what's the story behind this guitar, man?"
    "Eddie, it's just a guitar."
"I think I'll find that Japanese guy, maybe he's got a better story...."

I was so in awe after Brain Damage that I forgot to pay attention to the guitars he broke out. I started a thread wondering if Stone had taken his guitars (hog, size 5) back from Eddie!?!? But no, the 40s Hog and the Size 5 were both on display. I've been hunting down the perfect Parlor guitar ever since his Bay Area shows, played the Martin, Larivees, Santa Cruz, A&L... Haven't pulled the trigger on anything yet, but the Cargo Acoustic parlor just might be my choice....
