So I was in Fred Meyer's in Oregon the other day and ran across this CD in their music area. Mad World "Strung Out on Pearl Jam." A string quartet tribute. It's actually pretty bad ass. Given to fly done with violins is freaking sweet. They've put the usual hits on it, Alive, Evenflow, Once, RVM, Corduroy, Go, Elderly Woman, and a few others. 14 in total. I'm definitely not the classical, sophisticated music listening type, but I say get this CD. Different for sure.

If you were the classic, sophisticated music listening type, you wouldn't be listening to string quartet tribute albums.

HA! It's the first one I bought, and I like it. All I need is a cigar and some cognac!

Bringing this one back for my man Dave. I got this as an xmas Prezzie and I dig it. There are some songs which are better arranged than others, but all in all it's an interesting interpretation on the songs.
I love to turn you on
