What is happening right now is the RIGHT WING MACHINE in motion. Playing the victim to win political points............. Everyone needs to call Letterman's supporters/advertisers and say that you are buying more items because they advertise with Letterman......this process is the exact EXACT process that they use to make people cower..... STAND UP NOW>.......

    I can't believe that this "protest" is even getting wind. Palin is SUCH an idiot.
    Letterman's apology the other night was heartfelt... but like vedderwt suggests, this is the right wing/Fox machine in motion. Keith Olberman had a great take on this tonight... worth watching on MsNBC if you get a chance. I agree with Vedderwt. Call your local CBS station and give support. Don't let the 'machine' take opportunities.

    Fact is that this issue should frankly just go away. Just like Palin. Back to Alaska.

    I keep wondering if now that he's apologized to Palin (twice, obviously forced...we all know what he thinks of Palin), she'll apologize for calling our President a terrorist and questioning his loyalty to America.

    I also find it hilarious that all of her prepared statements are just continuous run-on sentences...just like her verbal answers. But in a prepared statement, jeez, can't someone throw a fucking period in there somewhere?

    My dad told me about it and I was like "who cares?" then he goes on saying how its bad to say stuff like that on TV for everyone to hear...the girl is 14 years old bla bla bla.     I support David Letterman 100 percent. I am putting my foot down for this right wing fear campaign to make letterman look like an evil person. THe hypocrisy is outrageous and the lies and whining they are spreading is more than a way to quite one voice...THIS IS the right wing machine in action, and it is how they operate to silence all opposition....DO NOT LET ANY SIGN OF SHOW THAT YOU ARE NOT SUPPORTING DAVID 100 percent. They are animals....

    Please tell your sponsors that there is a huge campaign to support Dave and that the fans of Pearl Jam and other groups I belong to are joining together to purposefully buy more products from CBS/LAte Night advertisers.... We wont stand for this anti-american ignorance. Dave not only has a right to talk about Palin and the daughters she injected into the political spotlight for own benefit, but he has a right to weather this lunacy and fight against it.
