I know everyone has their choice of openers, but I want to see Release open at any show I go to. It just seems to bring the band and the crowd into it together. That and it is one spine tingling song to get reaquainted with eddie and the boys.

well i've always wanted that to be the first live PJ song I hear, so I'm right there with you.

  • I love it as an opener, but you gotta mix some Long Raod in there too, with the occasional Sometimes

After listening to so many boots for a project I'm doing I just can't think of one song that would be a great opener. Can you believe that! I surprised myself in fact.

I know I would like to hear Severed Hand and Corduroy and Even Flow and Given to Fly etc etc etc, but I can't think of the most appropriate opening song for a night as opposed to a crowd. Wash as an opener speaks volumes.

these are the perfect openers. i have seen release a few times, but i have never seen long road or sometimes. but hey, i'll take anything. can't wait for the hartford show. friday night, going to be sweet. we all know how rockin' albany was on that friday night so this should be awesome too.
  • I saw Long Road in 00 at Va Beach. I knew that was coming. 1st show after the tradgedy it had to be.

I listen to the 3 times I've seen them do release over and over again from my boots.

I haven't seen Release yet live....and I'm pretty sure if I did, I'd cry. I'm hoping to see it at Tweeter Center...let's hope for this!

seen Release a couple of times now and it is simply a perfect opener...the only two songs I can even think of that would be good alternates are Oceans and Wash...seeing some EV shows next month and really curious to see what he is planning on opening with
