OK, heres the situation......A certain person in the NFL ( Donte Stallworth ) went out one night drinking .....got intoxicated beyond legal BAC levels......... gets back into his 5,000,000,000 bentley or hummer , whatever , kills a pedestrian crossing the street in Miami, AND only gets 1 month in jail with house arrest and community service ..... this guy is a piece of trash and deserves much harsher of a punishment.......they also said he gave the family an undisclosed amount of $$$$ ...........im calling bullshit.......thoughts?

hey man we're going over this in another thread on here about rich and famous...he's got a lot more going against him than just 1 month in prison, but it's still f-d up.

plain and simple he bought is way out of jail. one question I have is if he is on 2 years house arrest can he play in the NFL?

I am not defending Stallworth in any way, I think his sentance was light, but if I read correct, I DO like the law in Florida that if the other party is somewhat negligent was well, I.E.- crossing the street not in a crosswalk or jumping out in front of a car, they are held accountable as well. I think Plaxicos case will be bad as well, he may not serve any jail time but a normal person gets locked up for three years?

As long as the family of the dead guy is OK with this, why should WE have a problem? Life in prison isn't bringing back their loved one. This was a tragic accident which probably could've happened to any of us, at some point in our lives.
