Iranian Election Thread

I looked for a thread and didn't see one. Is anyone following this?

I do feel the U.S. mainly has the role of watching, staying out of it, but I'd like to see a fair election take place.

The Iranian government can't completely shut down documentation of the events despite banning foreign media, because everyone can take pictures and twitter.

    Interesting this could be true, though they were able to count several million votes in 2 hours after the election by HAND!

    over how many polling stations tho? ... although i'm no expert - the opposition had the support of the urban and young crowd ... i'm pretty sure the old-timers still outnumber that demographic by far ...

    I agree with Obama's "wait and see" approach. Imagine if Iran would have attempted to intervene in the 2000 election....it would have been laugh at...
