I see that TicketBastard had decent balcony seats available for both nights.

Such a great place to see Ed. I'm surprised.

TM just released more tix for the Ryman shows. I got on TM last week and there were none. Pretty common practice these days.

yeah i checked the the 18th show every day since the day they went onsale and there were no tickets available. I guess they're just releasing like they do for a lot of shows. I went by the ryman the other day and it said sold out beside eds name on the show calendar.

    Ahh, OK.

I wondered since they added the second show - I assumed ticket sales were brisk.

Sounds like folks who wanted to go have a chance now.

I think that tickets have been intentionally leaked in a slow drip, to devalue any "extras" to discourage scalping, making any extras worth less than face.

6 days ago I checked TM and there were 3rd row (Row CC) for sale on TM for Baltimore 1. I fought hard not to buy them, because I knew they were leaking more and more tickets, making my dresscircle/balcony tickets worthless if I tried to sell them... though it does suck that the die-hards who buy right away are being sent to the balconies, while any dick or harry who goes to TM a few days before the show gets the best seats in the house. ...it is what it is though.

I disagree with your "fix." but do think they should have played Texas. Have you ever been to Memphis?

wow.. you sure know a lot about Nashville.

night 1 sold out in 90 seconds.. night 2 took a little longer because people didn't want to buy the obstructed seats but eventually sold out.. there are a lot of seats on the sides in the rear where you can barely see the stage.

they released tix the week of like any band does at any venue..

I have a feeling the Nashville crowds are in for some really good shows.

The first time I walked into the Ryman the history of the place really hit me.
I had a chance to stand on stage and the thought of all the great performers
that had stood there was pretty powerful.

I hope Ed feels it too for all you folks that are lucky enough to go.
