Baltimore EV Guest Appearance Rumor

I just read this over on TwoFeetThick.com and figured that I'd post it here:

This just in from Baltimore Sun reporter Sam Sessa just posted this tidbit:

I have it on good authority that grunge icon Eddie Vedder will make a guest appearance at The 8×10 tonight to sit in with Jerry Hannan and the Decades.

Vedder is in town as part of his solo tour, and will perform a second night at the Lyric Opera House tonight. He and Hannan recorded the critically acclaimed song “Society” together for Sean Penn’s 2007 film Into the Wild.

In fact, I hear that Hannan is going to sit in with Vedder at the Lyric, and then Vedder is headed to South Baltimore for a song or two with Hannan.

Jerry played with him last night, Rog, but logistically (sorry, overly used word on here today), who comes on/off-stage first? Ed usually comes off around 10:45-11, he was off at like 10:35 last night...I'm not doubting you, but it would be tough, but then again it is Ed

I'm just reposting what I saw over there. Hope that it happens for the people that are going to the Jerry show tonight, but do I really care.... not really

I'm sure if Ed does show up at Jerry's show, it will be just to do "Society" with him towards the end of the show- maybe an encore like he did with Ed last night?
