will check later tonight. if it's connected to your tool bar, a program might of got installed on your pc. check out your control panel & iadd and remove program, to see if anything new or fishy has been added.

also virus scan your pc to see if anything comes up.

Or - to make things easier - get a Mac, and never worry about viruses until they get more than a 5% market share :)

its not the webiste, its sendspace that's giving you the pop up ads. I've been downloading boots from there for 2 years now. As a longtime member I can assure you its not the site. Happens to me all the time.

that must be it. the ad will alway's come up if you are not a sendspace member.
if you have an account with sendspace, you won't get those ad's at all!

you will keep getting those pop up blocks. cause you are not a paid member with sendspace, megaupload, rapidshare or whatever they use to download their files, once you click their link you will be directed to download the files through these sites, which you will get the pop up's! it will not happen if you paid a member fee. do the 1 month, or 3 month's etc.. while logged into those accounts, and you won't see those pop up's again.

Macs can get virii now, and when they do they're generally 10X as hard to deal with as on PC. Just because you aren't the biggest target doesn't mean you aren't a target at all.
