Today the United states Army turns 234 years old.

So Thank you from all of us, The Ones that appreciate your services at home and abroad and thank you for all the sacrifices that all of you have made for the past 234 years so that we can have the freedom that we have today.

Happy Birthday.

Thanks for posting here, TMT is a little crazy.

Coming from an all Army family I can tell you its not an easy way of life, but this country needs good people to fill the ranks to get us out of this mess.

We've come a long way since a ragtag mob of farmers with muskets sitting in a field outside of Boston in 1775 to what we have now.

    yeah...happy b-day army :D

i'm an army brat...and am from a long line of family members who have served. my dad was in the service for 22 years...his dad before him. my mom's dad, my papa, was the army's first drill sargeant (sp?), as well as the first member of the u.s. army to graduate from the usmc's paris island :D i guess before that, they were known as task sargeants?!
