meaning of long pause during Guaranteed?

Hello! Does anyone know why the quite long pause during this song?? :o

    i always wondered. at first i thought it was the timing from the movie but i was wrong.

    i love playing it on the jukebox. people get confused during the silence and think its broke..then bitch thinking its the same song played again 8-)

    I'd suggest that it's an outro to the album. Pearl Jam did a similar thing on Ten, although the rhythm used at the back of Release was a follow on to the intro to Once, instead of being a variation of Guaranteed as we hear on the album.

    That's just my uneducated estimation - does that fly?
