I've been perusing various ticket sites and there were a couple of different sites that Had tickets for sale for Camden for BOTH the 19th and 20th; so I will be very surprised if a 2nd show is not announced soon.

Sorry if someone already posted this, but I don't have time to sift through all the threads and I just wanted to pass the word along to those interested.

Yeah, I noticed that too. It was pretty a given that there would be a second show.

I'm just curious to see if Ed pops up in Philly a day earlier at the Mann Performing Arts Center for the R.E.M. and Modest Mouse show on the 18th.

    quite possibly.
i am not planning on hitting up camden, but if they add a show on the 20th it will be so hard to resist as its our 16th wedding anniversary. would be cool to celebrate at a pj show. then agian, mr. dream may not love that. :p haha. thing is though, being a friday...bit tough. already have the following week off, so hubby really can't take friday....and it is a couple hours drive from the island. hmmmmmm. i wish they add a second show for DC on saturday. :D THAT would be perfect!

Totally know what you are saying! Coordinating mid week shows with work is tough. My hubbsie has graciously committed to all the shows that I want to attend but I fear I may be doing the site seeing thing solo a couple of days so he can work from a wifi spot. It works out okay as long as we get to the shows together!

Thanks. I go to a few shows at the Mann every year and was intrigued by that show and by how it is scheduled the night before PJ in Camden.

Also, it's interesting that R.E.M. is playing such a small venue in Philly in between Jones Beach, Tweeter in Boston and the 19th at MSG.

It should be a great show and tix go on sale 4/5.

i dont complain much... but to be honest i am not a big fan of the "we are touring and tickets go on sale in 3 days you will find out how much tickets are when you buy them" thing...

there is no need for the lack of info

True, because not telling us the price of tix is just going to cause everyone to go onto the goods section when tix go onsale today to check out what the price is and clog up the whole system.

I think in 06 they announced the 2nd camden show after the first one was sold, and there were 10C seats.

I think that was the year they sold them as tickets to the show if a second was scheduled. Then they only put the charges through when the second show was confirmed. If their was no second show for the venue (I think this was the case for one city) they released the hold on those funds and didn't actually charge your card.

Does anyone remember approximately when they did this that year? was it after all the ticket sales for the shows that are definitely scheduled? I assume it was still before the second show was on Ticketbastard.

Even though it won't be necessary since there will be threads about the ticket prices later today. But I'm sure plenty will still do that.

Didn't they do that for the third East Ruth show that never was of the '06 tour?

I relate it to going into a store picking up some items and then finding out at the checkout how much each item costs... kinda annoying and unnecessary. I'm sure that the cost is know for each venue, since it HAS to be posted with the ticket onsale link. Why not inform the consumer before they attempt to make a purchase?????
