If Detroit wins I think we can point the pissed off Pens fans to this foolish thread as the reason ;)
Just ask a certain someone who had '2008 Stanley Cup Champs' in their sig alllll year last year!

It'll be great to watch and even I know it will be near impossible to win in Detroit but I have to feel like I do.

I'm torn. I hate the Pens but Detroit wins too often and is getting closer and closer to the record.

This isn't SI cover or something. If Detroit wins we'll get what everyone expects, if Pittsburgh wins then Hockeytown goes down to a little pup.

What record, you mean the Habs Cup record? Please no team is ever going to get close to that record.

Yeah, that record. And they might. I don't think I'll see my boys win it again in my lifetime, so I hope I'm dead before it's beaten :P

After my favorite team, (the Devils  ), went out so horribly with just freaking 80 seconds left,  I haven't watched another hockey game since... :( :o

But I will be watching this game 7 and I will be wanting the PENGUINS to win! :D

(I am more of a Red Wing Hater than a Penguin Fan but whatever...)

It should be a great game, but I have a strong feeling that the home team will come out ahead... :(

Interesting, I guess the Pens will at least score one more goal than the number of wins the Lions had last year.

I guess you have to live with the wins you can get. Pens have already won just getting there, they almost didn't even exist this year. It's a given that the Wings are one of the greatest franchises in hockey. Guess I'll have to live with only SIX Superbowl rings.

Pittsburgh only has 3 of the 4 major sport teams and they all have won a ring at one time or another in the modern era. Got to go back 50 years to find a ring for the Lions.

Since I despise the Wings, I'm rooting for a Pens victory. But winning a game 7 on the road in Detroit??? That's a tough task. I'm just hoping for an exciting game.

Pittsburgh I can't stand except for the Pirates whom I do like quite a bit since Manny Sanguien, Willie Stargell and Dave Parker. Oh of course #21 I don't care for the Wings either but the Pens are another story.

    Let's go Wings

    You're delusional.
Pittsburgh has given their fans absolutely no reason to believe they can win in Detroit, let alone in Game 7.
I wonder how comfortable Fleury will be between the pipes, returning to the scene of one of the most embarrassing performances in this year's playoffs. I wonder if he'll make it through the entire game this time...

 I'm not too worried about karma in this series.
I honestly believe the best team will win. I also believe that, going into it, either team has a chance to win it, but I think Detroit will win convincingly.

I am hoping that was just a typing mistake. Hit the 8 instead of the 9. It is going to be a tough one tonight. Lets go Penguins.

haha, I don't think it was a typo!
I can't decide if I should go for the Ice Chickens, Red Wings, or Chicken Wings.
Might just have to stay neutral and enjoy hockey.

Last year, after the Wings destroyed the Pens in Pittsburgh, the first guy who got the Cup after Lidstron was Dallas Drake. I think tonight, it would only be fitting for Hossa to be the first to hoist it after the captain. Should be fun to watch. Enjoy the game hockey fans!

You have been thinking that one up all afternoon haven't you.

I think it would be more fitting having hossa watch the other team hoist the cup. That is the one thing that should stay the same as last year.

    Let's go Penguins.

Well there you go. You don't show up for 6 minutes in a game 7, dummies.

Good game, congrats to the Pens. Nice couple of saves at the end.
