  • There was one lady who was trying to pull political ties to get onto 447 when it was full- pitching a fit at the airport- making threats that they don't know who she is etc.-and after the crash all she said was that she was glad she wasn't on the flight and how lucky they are to have survived- but never expressed (verbally) regret that all the others had perished- was this her? That would be even more creepy but it's rare karma catches you that quick.

Yeah, sometimes it takes longer than others.

For me the survivors of the Titanic are just about a miracle. I can't wrap my head around ever having an experience like that.
I have to admit that what happened to 447 is something that I negate as a possibility every time I get on a plane. I usually have to sedate myself with whiskey pre take off. otherwise I hang onto the seat arms like they're actually going to save me.
Last time I flew- I took enough Dramamine to knock me out- the plane was mostly empty and I had 3 seats to myself so- I cautiously laid down and went to sleep. Somewhere along the trip I got the feeling something wasn't quite right... I slowly rose rubbing my eyes- and thought "oh shit, oh shit, oh shit- I'm on a plane! GO BACK TO SLEEP!"
Go ahead laugh- I think I really am only comfortable when me feets are on land.
