WTF - Ryman Night 2 show Tickets available today!

This show was listed as sold out the first day tickets when on sale. . . .but as of a few minutes ago. . one can select 2 tickets (best available) and get 4th row dead center balcony.

Yes, I agree. This has happened at every show I've been to and always excellent seats. I never take the chance though and always try to get tix before the day of the show. It does piss you off that you take all the trouble to get tickets the minute they go on sale and then great tickets show up a few days or the day of!!

Its real simple...on the initial onsale, sprinkle a few good seats in amongst some of the worse seats in the house as people somehow think they are almost sold out and buy up the back of the house. As time goes by, drop in a few tickets here and there, and put the best ones (not given to band/fan clubs/etc....and PJ is one of just a few fan clubs who truly do get the best seats) out a day before or the day of the show.
Ideally, most promoters (PJ is a bit different as they get the best seats) prefer to sell large blocks, even sections at a time to corporate accounts, when they can't, they find their way on to the brokers sites, and then eventually back at face value.
I can't wait for tomorrow's...."OMG, there are tickets available for tonights show....WHY?????"
